The Bilicious Show

July 26, 2010

It's very exciting for me: I auditioned for something for the first time in my life, and I made the cut.

I'll be performing in The Bilicious Show, a bisexual-themed variety show, that is having a performance in Boston in September. (Thursday the 23rd, 7:30 PM, at the Club Cafe, 209 Columbus Avenue).

Probably none of you are based in Boston or will be there on that day, but please do tell any friends who live in the area or may be visiting.

These days, it seems increasingly common for a writer to be, or feel the need to become, a performer. For me, it's an unrealized dream from way back, and I'm thrilled to have found a forum that can accept my bizarre or unlikely "talent": an unclassifiable comic streak that expresses itself verbally, both written and spoken.

Please wish me the classic superstitious performer's "Break a leg." And many, many thanks for your interest in my work.
